Our standard hire period is up to a maximum 14 days.

How quickly can a skip be delivered?

Most skips are available for next day delivery.

What items are allowed in a skip?

Bricks, Concrete, Soil, Green Waste, Timber, Metal, Plastic, Glass, Paper and Cardboard.

What items aren't allowed in a skip?

Fridges, Freezers, Gas Bottles, Chemicals, Solvents, Batteries, Clinical Waste, Liquids (such as oil, petrol, diesel, paint), Tyres, Explosives, Hazardous Toxic Waste, Asbestos, Fluorescent Tubes, Tree Stumps.

What is the maximum capacity of the skip? How full can I fill it?

The skip should be level loaded and the total load should not exceed the height of the skip to ensure safe transportation.

When do I need to obtain a skip permit?

If you want to place a skip on a public road, you must obtain a skip permit from Kent County Council. It is against the law to put a skip on a public road without a permit.

We can obtain a permit on your behalf for an additional fee of £50 + VAT. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing before your skip can be delivered. The permit will be valid for 7 days only.
